The kids got up to find their Easter baskets/buckets.
We went to early worship service with my parents and managed to snap a few pictures before the kids starting stripping off their church clothes.
Alright so, maybe her bow is big enough to be Nellie Olsen. I never claimed to be a good bow maker.
I love this picture I snapped of my parents.
So after we took a few pictures, we ate. We had the BEST ham I have ever put in my mouth! YUM! And of course, Hot Corn. Double YUM! Anyway, after we stuffed ourselves and visited for awhile, the kids insisted it was time to hunt Easter eggs.
Let the hunt begin.

J emptying his loot out of his eggs.

So, did you have a good Easter celebration?
Glad you had such a great Easter weekend! The weather certainly was fantastic for a egg hunt.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful day. My kids left pretty early on Easter, so I spent the afternoon painting my bathroom. I would much rather have been at your parents' house!
ReplyDeleteYour parents always take the best photos!!! I don't have to tell you how cute your kids are!! It looks like the whole family had a great time!
ReplyDeleteLet me say first that I love what we used to call a "bow head" so she looks just PERFECT to me! They all do. We still take Easter pictures after all these years. Goofy? Yeah. Probably.
ReplyDeleteI had a WONDERFUL weekend! Both of my daughters were here, even the big shot from D.C. I am still on top of the world basking in the glow of Mommy Land.
Ah, what a wonderful Easter celebration. I love the one with all the kids still in their Sunday clothes! I'm a little afraid to look back through our pics, my two did not want to take pictures this year!
ReplyDeleteHa! Nellie Olsen! You guys look like you had a wonderful day! We did too!
ReplyDeleteMmmmm ham. I'm hungry.
