Well, it's Saturday and I've been playing doctor since last night. No, not the "Show me yours and I'll show you mine" kind of playing doctor, the high fever (104), throwing up, changing people's bedding and clothes, dispensing meds kind of playing doctor. Let me just tell you, the other kind of playing doctor sounds like a lot more fun just about now.
So, L started running fever last night, we went to the doctor this morning and found out he has Type A flu. This was especially wonderful news considering we all shared a big ole Dr. Pepper last night at Sam's just an hour before the fever started. Fabulous! So, I dropped him off to Daddy at home while I went to fill his Tamiflu prescription. By the time I got home, E had started throwing up and running fever too. GREAT! Back to the pharmacy I went to fill her "just in case she comes down with it" prescription. So, as of now we have two sick with flu, one sick with a cold and three hoping and praying to stay well!
Hope y'all are having a better weekend than we are in the FFB household. Stay well bloggy peeps!
Oh no! I hope that the two with the flu get over it quickly and that the rest of you don't get it. It's been going around like crazy at school.
ReplyDeleteYikes! We've been in that boat. Not a fun one! I will be praying for you my friend! Hope everyone is better soon!
ReplyDeleteI heard that was a nasty flu. Hope the kiddos get well quickly and no one else comes down with it.
ReplyDeleteugh...I hope it gets out of your house ASAP!!!
ReplyDeleteSure hope everyone feels better soon. My best friend says if you drink vinegar and water it will keep you from getting sick. Worth a try?
ReplyDeleteAww...I'm so sorry to hear that - I sure hope everyone gets on the mend very soon - you poor thing. On another note, I wanted to let you know that you have an award waiting for you today over at my blog so check it out when you get the chance! ;) http://livinginhighcotten.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteBig hugs my friend!
Awful!! I know the way it feels to have a sick house. I saw Denise up there suggesting the vinegar. I would definitely give it a try. Try sweetening it with some sugar or splenda.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, weary mom!!!
UGH! That is no fun at all. So sorry...hope everyone is ship shape soon!
ReplyDeleteAnd even if mom doesn't get it...it is still EXHAUSTING playing doctor to everyone else!
We've come down with something here too. Me and the kids aren't doing to well. Hopefully it will pass and not get work. Hope everyone gets better soon in your family too.
ReplyDeleteI meant to write that hopefully is does not get worse not work:-) As you can see I'm not functioning at 100% here today. Though spelling errors are a usual occurrence for me just not that glaring.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry! I have heard of the vinegar trick, too, although I haven't tried it......It might be worth a try, girl. I am blogging today about winning your giveaway.....maybe i need to send you some R&R?? Take care of yourself, too!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne
Thank you, by the way....I love, love the bath salts!!!
Hi Tanya! I'm visiting from Suzanne's blog. I see that you love Razorback football. Are you from Arkansas? I was born and raised there and I'm a huge Razorbacks fan! Small world, huh? Anyway, so sorry to hear that all kinds of sicknesses are going around in your house. Hope everyone is "all better" soon!
