Ruffled Kitchen Towel Giveaway

What does cottage charm mean to you?  To me, it means a relaxed and comfortable place.  It's inviting, a place that rises up to greet you, as Oprah would say.  It's never too uptight.  It's a mix of old and new.  It's a big comfy chair or sofa.


Well, Kim at Twice Remembered Cottage is having a month long giveaway and I thought I would join in.  We're supposed to giveaway things we feel have "cottage charm". 

Remember this post I did about this ruffled ruffled kitchen towel I made?


No?  Well, let me refresh your memory.  It's a large flour sack towel with three ruffles. 



The ruffles are not hemmed and are meant to fray with each washing.  So wanna know how to win it?


1.  Follow Froufroubritches on Google Friend Connect and leave me a comment saying you are a follower (required).

2.  Leave me a comment stating what you love about cottage style. 

3.  Blog or Facebook about this giveaway and leave me a comment stating which you did.

 Because of high shipping costs, this giveaway is only available to residents of the United States and Canada.  This giveaway is open until 11:59 p.m. on May, 28th.  The winner will be announced May 29th.

    And... what do I love about cottage style? I've always loved the classic comfortable look of cottage style... especially now... Being an expat living in South Korea, it reminds me of my cute cottage home in NC. (don't worry... when I win this cute dish towel... which South Korea is sadly lacking in, I must say... I'll be in NC awaiting my package... heehee)

    What does Cottage Charm mean to me? It means....that *everybody* feels welcome and comfortable. It means you can put your feet up and cuddle the dog laying next to you on the couch..

    to me cottage living means sharing hospitality. I know they didn't live in cottages but it makes me think of prairie days when you were always welcome to drop it.

    hmm...what I like about cottage style? probably that it can be so many different things: vintage, white, pink, farmhouse, French, etc. I am not cottage yet, well...I'm not sure what I am, I just know it's not cottage :p BUT, I'll probably, eventually and hopefully, end up a mix of several kinds.
