Sunday, we stayed in the house and hoped for snow. It started around 1:30 and didn't quit until 11:00 p.m. or so. We ended up with 5 1/2 inches, which is unheard of around here. We had such a good time playing in the snow.
L had a great time throwing snowballs.
J couldn't wait to jump on the snow filled trampoline.
The girls.
Down the street.
Check out the house up the hill from us. Not only do they still have their Christmas lights up, but they still have them on. People, it's January the 10th. Let's move on. Christmas is over. Let it go. Just sayin. Ya think maybe they're pretending to have a white Christmas?
Well, Hubby called to say he made it safely to work, so I think the kids and I will go play for a little while. I see a snowman in our future. Have a great day!
Waaa! I would much rather have snow than the ICE that I have. I will say, though, that if only one of us could have snow, I'll glad it's the Frou Frou Family because you have the kids around to enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteAnd I agree about the Christmas lights.
Love the snow!! I passed by several house last night who still had lights up (and on!). One house even had their tree lit up!!! For a moment, I tried to enjoy it and pretend it was early December, but that didn't work. ;)

I'm so happy for you getting your snow!!! I'm so unhappy for me that we got more too!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had such a good weekend, and hope you have a great week too!
Don't you just love snow days! We called an "unofficial snow day" at the Murphy home! Just to much fun to let go to waste.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with that snowman!
Sounds like a great weekend. We got snow too and Caden is out of school tomorrow as he was today. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteIt's a winter wonderland!
ReplyDeleteI think it is time for your neighbors to take down the lights!
