Pumpkin Patch

I want to thank everyone for your prayers and sweet comments for my kids this past week.  The kids are all feeling better.  Thank you Lord!  My internet has been messed up for a few days now and I wasn't sure why, but after Hubby had a chance to check it yesterday, he found that our modem died.  So, he got a new one and got it installed last night and all is right with my internet now.  YAY!  Boy, that was a tough 48 hours with no internet!
Friday, my son L, had a field trip to the pumpkin patch.  I thought I would have to stay home with my C, since she was still feeling sick, but my aunt offered to come stay with her so Hubby and I could go with him.  We had the best time!

We played in the hay.

We rode the cow train.

We picked a pumpkin.

We posed for pictures (yes, I know he looks like Justin Bieber.  He needs a haircut!).

and we went on a hayride, not that you can tell that from this photo.

We had a great time and had zero meltdowns.  YAY!

Our town decided to trick or treat tonight instead of Sunday, so I better go get ready for costumes and trick or treating.  Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  2. I thought you were still being Mommy nurse. It stinks that you had computer flu on top of it all.

I'm so glad the trip to the pumpkin patch was wonderful! He's so cute, and I love the one of you on the cow train the best. You need to crop, print, and frame that one. It's adorable.

Hope the kids have a wonderful time trick or treating.

And put that Hershey bar down right now, Missy. That belong to the kids...

  6. I loved seeing these family pictures. You son is a real cutey! It looks like you had a perfect day for a field trip to the pumpkin patch. Whoever designed that cow train was clever. It is the cutest thing! We were at an orchard yesterday and you could tell by the way that things were set up that they had a lot of school groups in lately.

  7. Glad you had a great time at the pumpkin patch with your son and husband. Looks like ya'll had a lot of fun. Where was the pumpkin patch you went to? I used to love going to the one in Greenbrier all of the time - it was my favorite when we lived in Conway. I also remember the "South" celebrating "trick or treating" on Saturday night instead of Sunday too. They don't do that here in the Northeast and even have a "mischief" night on the night before - thankfully, our house didn't get toilet papered or egged. HA! Hope the kiddos had a great time trick or treating last night! xoxoxo
