I LOVE ZEBRA!

Okay.  I admit it.  I am addicted to zebra print.  I LOVE it!  I love it in brown and in black.  LOVE IT!  LOVE IT!  LOVE IT!

I found this great zebra floorcloth.   Isn't it GORGEOUS!  It's by Dana Herbert.  You can find it  here.  Considering I don't have much $$ to spend, I'm thinking of trying it myself.   Anyone know where I can find canvas?  I guess I better start my search.

OOPS!  I'm late to pick up "C" from dance class. Gotta go.

  1. Get the heaviest canvas you can find at any art store. Preferable 18 oz or higher.

  3. Dana-I very much enjoyed your blog and your website. Your work is AMAZING! The floorcloth is gorgeous and your ragrolling on the wall is beautiful. I wouldn't have the patience to do a whole wall. Thanks so much for your input. So sweet! Can't wait to visit your site/blog more!

Lisa- I will keep that in mind. Thanks so much for the info. Do you teach other designs as well or just the diamonds dunflowers? I'll be checking my schedule.

  5. Thanks Dana. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions. I've never done a floorcloth before, but I've always loved them. I'm sure I'll be visiting your blog all the time!!

  6. I've done a few floor cloths, but only smaller throw rug sizes. I used the heaviest canvas fabric Walmart had. I contemplated using the inexpensive canvas you can buy at Lowes or Home Depot and trying to do a larger area rug size. If it wasn't heavy enough, I wouldn't lose much money.
